The Damon J. Smith radio show began in February 2007 on KFIA AM 710 as The Athlete's Show. It covered all issues pertaining to the world of athletics. In May 2008, the show broadened its scope to a variety of social and political issues, continuing its run through November 2008 following the presidential elections.
